Abstract：The system is composed of two laser displacement sensors which shoot up and down. The upper and lower sensors measure the position of the upper surface and the lower surface respectively. The thickness of the measured body is calculated. The advantage of laser thickness gauge is that it uses non-contact measurement, which is more accurate than contact thickness gauge and will not lose accuracy because of wear.
