"China International Battery Technology Exchange / Exhibition (cibf)" is an international regular meeting of battery industry sponsored by China chemical and physical power industry association. It is held in China every two years, and it is the largest exhibition in the international battery industry. Cibf is the first international exhibition protected by trademark registration in China's battery industry. Following the successful holding of the 12th China International Battery Technology Exchange / Exhibition (cibf2016) in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from May 24 to 26, 2016, China chemical and physical power industry association is scheduled to hold the 13th China International Battery Technology Exchange / exhibition with unprecedented scale in Shenzhen in 2018. As the most forward-looking technology to promote the development of new energy industry in the future, energy storage will play a huge role in new energy grid connection, electric vehicles, smart grid, micro grid, distributed energy system, home energy storage system, power supply projects in power free areas and even energy security in the future. The energy storage industry is still in the early stage of development in the world and in China, especially the huge market potential in China, which is likely to become the largest energy storage application market in the world.
